While this fish-and-seafood-led restaurant in Palermo Hollywood has long housed a great collection of vintages with plenty of whites to boot, the wine programme has gone from strength to strength since moving premises in 2022. Chef-patron Gabriel Oggero and partner Geraldine Gastaldo are hugely passionate about wine and Crizia has eye-catching purpose-built vertical cellar towers above the oyster bar, open-plan kitchen, and dining room. Ask about the notable magnum collection. Short on time, like I often am? Stop by for a half-dozen Patagonian bivalves cultivated in the open sea with a classic wine pairing at the kitchen counter. Those with time to savour the delectable tasting menu will enjoy excellent harmonizations that will include low-intervention wines from tiny producers as well as big names, from all over Argentina.
