Martynas Pravilonis is a native Lithuanian who has worked in the field of wine and spirits since 2007, with experience in both the on- and off-trade. He holds the WSET Level 4 Diploma, as well as the Advanced Sommelier qualification from the Court of Master Sommeliers. Since 2014 Martynas has been successfully competing in Lithuanian and international sommelier competitions with the highest achievement being fourth place in the ASI Best Sommelier of the World 2019 in Antwerp.
Additionally, he teaches at the Lithuanian Sommelier School and privately consult for restaurants on beverage programs and staff training.
Born and bred in Vilnius, he lives in the city with his family. Gabriele, his wife, is also a wine professional, and together they have four kids and a furry Aussie shepherd.
