Taneli Lehtonen is the best sommelier in Finland

Taneli Lehtonen is the best sommelier in Finland. On Monday, 31 August, he won the ASI Best Sommelier of Finland 2020 in Helsinki.

The finals were held at Wahna Satama in Helsinki, and three competitors made it through to the finals: Taneli Lehtonen from Muru, Kirsi Seppänen from Raventeli Bertha, and Juulia Eloranta from Restaurant C.

After a long day of competitions, Taneli Lehtonen – who also is Star Wine List’s ambassador in Finland – was crowned the winner. This is the fourth time Taneli wins the title; he has previously won 2016, 2017 and 2019.
