About Monu
Monu is a hand-built neighbourhood bar that wears its personality lightly: warm, lived-in and quietly exacting about bottles.
Founders Ine Haesaert and Vivian Kuper curate a list that favours natural, terroir-driven wines – bottles meant to be returned to, not shown off. Small plates and simple snacks keep the focus on drinking and conversation; the bar also leans on cocktail know-how and a seasonal Amaro spritz when the moment calls for it.
Renovated by the owners and patched together with flea-market finds, Monu feels personal in the best sense: intimate, stylish and unpretentious. It balances coffee, craft beer, natural wine and friendly cocktails in a way that suits both the early crowd and a later bar scene. A locally rooted bar with a clear identity and a wine list that brings natural, drinkable bottles to a wide audience. The kind of list that invites both connoisseurs and curious newcomers to explore and enjoy without intimidation.
