About 8000 Vintages
8000 Vintages is a single-minded, generous introduction to Georgia – its wines, its techniques and its people.
Born in Tbilisi and transplanted to Berlin, the project treats Georgian wine as a subject rather than a gimmick: qvevri reds sit alongside amber skin-contact whites, and the shop doubles as a tasting room where bottles can be opened and sampled on the spot. The bar keeps a rotating selection by the glass and a tasting table where staff will walk you through indigenous varieties and regional differences with curiosity and clarity. Events and guided tastings are quietly rigorous – meant to educate rather than to impress.
A rare, deep focus on one country executed with conviction – essential for anyone who wants to understand Georgia beyond the headlines.
