About Max Cekot Kitchen
Max Cekot Kitchen is a fine-dining contemporary restaurant reflecting modern Latvian cuisine. They are located away from the centre of Riga, in a former wood processing factory. The atmosphere is something special and unique, with an interior designed and hand-crafted by local artisans. The restaurant is open only three days a week and offers only a tasting menu. They also have a summer garden and indoor glasshouses where they grow fresh vegetables and herbs.
The wine program is run by talented sommelier Uldis Grigalis. The wine list is very classic with famous and well-respected names from France, Italy, Spain and the New World. There are two different wine pairings for the tasting menu – a classic and a premium – and you can also experience a house-created non-alcoholic pairing. As with most of the fine dining restaurants the prices are on the higher end.
