About Lost Roots
Lost Roots is located in the Thiseio area near the Acropolis, on a lovely pedestrian street close to the heart of the city. It is a wine bar that successfully expresses its love for wine and food well beyond the globally-inspired menu and wine list.
The food menu changes according to the season and has a Greek character with influences from all over the world. There are many vegan and vegetarian options, and a regularly changing list of cheese and charcuterie.
The visitable cellar has over 350 labels, with new wines added daily. The list contains around 25 selections by the glass and you’ll find wines by producers from all over the world, spanning conventional, low intervention and natural wines, plus beers from Greek microbreweries and a few spirits. What’s more, the bar often offers wine tastings exploring the various wine-producing regions of Greece.
