The old industrial area in Limhamn has undergone a transformation over the past decade and is now known as Limhamn's “seaside town,” with a harbour promenade and homes boasting balconies overlooking the sea. Here, you'll find the small wine bar Lilla Tabberaset, situated on a sun-drenched corner that is at its best during the summer months but also serves as a cosy retreat when the winds howl. It offers a small yet well-curated selection of beverages that caters to everyone – from those who prefer a classic ‘Super Tuscan’ with a view of sailboats to those who enjoy a playful and trendy pét-nat.
For a modern neighbourhood bar, it has surprisingly built up a great wine selection in a short time. On weekends, there are often wine quizzes and tastings with various themes. While natural wines can be found on the menu, the offerings tend to lean towards more classic styles that likely appeal to the regular clientele, though it's clear the staff strive to challenge their guests' palates.
The venue features large windows that let in the outdoor sunshine, a warm yet minimalist décor with muted pink walls, artwork by local Limhamn artist Carolina Gynning, and a solid bar that serves as the centrepiece. Here, you can enjoy simple dishes like moules-frites and stews paired with your glass of wine.
