Kaia-Kaipe Restaurant

Located in Getaria, a fishing village on the Cantabrian coast very close to the capita,l this family restaurant specialises in fresh fish and prime seafood, a traditional cuisine served in two separate spaces. There is an interior dining room with large windows overlooking the harbour, and Kaipe, a beautiful stone terrace converted into a restaurant. The gastronomic offer is a la carte, where the kitchen works with products according to market availability. The restaurant also has its own nurseries where they raise and take care of their seafood together with one of the most complete wine cellars in the coast of Guipuzcoa. Igor Arregi, the owner of the restaurant, has been creating a unique wine list with references from all over the world for many years, and in it you can find great verticals and vintages of the most important wineries, together with small projects and novelties.
