Hos Talevski Wine List

About Hos Talevski

Set within Lund’s lush City Park, Hos Talevski sits in a big square building surrounded by greenery, with large panoramic windows that bring in nature from every angle. The restaurant offers a beautiful sense of space, with a bright Scandinavian interior that nonetheless feels warm and intimate, mainly thanks to the family that runs it.

The beautifully presented dishes are a pleasant surprise, as is the wine list, curated by an Italian wine expert, since many people primarily associate the restaurant with being a pizzeria (a super good one though). This is also the place in Lund to keep an eye on if you’re interested in winemaker dinners and other happenings. And it’s worth noting that, even if the wine list has an obvious heart in Piedmont, it also represents the rest of Europe, with France playing just as important a role.

The Talevskis are a true restaurant family, having run both a coffee roastery and several restaurants over the years. At Hos Talevski, the second generation has now taken the lead alongside the parents, giving the city of Lund an Italian restaurant with wood fire baked pizza as a big focus. It may sound simple, but there is a deep commitment here to both food and wine, with an enthusiastic and highly regarded Italian expert overseeing the cellar. The wine list is carefully curated and ranges from approachable table wines from Italy to top bottles carefully collected, available in various formats and vintages. Who says pizza and Grand Cru wines don’t belong together?

On the plate, beautifully presented seasonal dishes sometimes feel more Swedish than Italian, thanks to a strong focus on local ingredients at their peak. The pizzas also move between classic Italian styles and seasonal creations, featuring ingredients such as chanterelles or new potatoes, depending on the time of year.

Keep an eye on what’s happening here. You’re likely to find jazz brunches, vinyl nights, visits from Italian producers, and wine tastings throughout the year.
