About Herberg onder de Linden
Onder de Linden is a restaurant with five rooms, situated in a monumental farmhouse from 1735 in Aduard, a small monastery village just next to Groningen. All the original elements are clearly visible throughout the building, creating a nice atmosphere. In summer it is a real feast having your dinner or lunch in the sunny garden, surrounded by greenery and the vegetable and herb garden.
The compact and very friendly priced wine list is the passion of sommelier Esmee Timmer. It has a great mix of European wines and wines from the New World. A lot of great wines on the list, such as the Wachauer Grüner Veltliner Weitenberg from Veyder-Malberg, Pinot Noir from Felton Road Central Otago and great Champagnes from Huré. Did I mention that the prices are really affordable?
