Fiskekrogen

Fiskekrogen is a classic in central Göteborg. Seafood has been served here since 1972 and the dining room is grand, with large windows facing Lilla torget and the main harbour canal. The current version of Fiskekrogen is popular and god knows how how many kilos of shellfish plateaus are carried from the kitchen each day. Get a seat in the dining room or in the bars and enjoy the show.

If you like wine with your fish, and of course you do, you are in for a treat. The Champagne offer is very solid, as is the Chablis, Puligny and Chassagne sections. Germany and US drinkers get their fix too. On the red side you also have plenty to choose from, including some moderately priced mature DRCs (although we fear that they will be drunk soon after we mention this). Mature wines and decent prices are really the hallmark of Fiskekrogen. Besides the seafood of course.
