Döllerer Wine List

About Döllerer

Andreas Döllerer is the master of signature dishes. Creations like the baked fennel in a dough made with glacier polish from Großglockner, his Alpine Ramen, his sweetbread “Alt Wien” or the famous Schwarzbeernocken are must-haves for every visitor of this elegant alpine restaurant. Andreas Döllerer seems to have something like perfect pitch, but for taste. He is also a genius in the field of wine, and dedicated to the wines of Germany, Burgundy and Piedmont.

As Andreas’ father, Hermann Döllerer, leads one of Austria's most important wine trading companies, the wine list is outstanding. You will find everything on the list: the classics as well as wines from what the younger wine scene in Austria has to offer. Head Sommelier Alexander Koblinger is in command of three or more young sommeliers, all eager to study and learn about the great world of international wines. Whether you decide on Champagne or Burgundy, you will find many bottles at surprisingly reasonable prices.

  • One may pause in awe, but the (wine-) wise connoisseur knows: this is not a place for idle wonder. This is a wine list worthy of legend – perhaps the greatest assembly of wines in Austria, if not the known world. Lesser deeds have inspired hymns and anthems, yet this list offers more than one could desire. This is your chance to go to heaven more than once. • A truly world-class list that showcases the effort, dedication and attention to detail of the sommelier team behind it; a wonderland for any sommelier or wine-enthusiast, with diversity, depth and variety. This is a stand-out list in terms of range, with a sizeable selection of wines also from outside of Europe and a very exciting collection of sweet wines.
