About Deessa
Deessa is a two-Michelin Stars restaurant located in the majestic Alfonso XIII room within the Mandarin Oriental Ritz Hotel and the first project of the celebrated Spanish chef Quique Dacosta.
The grand, high-ceilinged room is flooded with light from the huge windows which overlook the world famous Museo del Prado, a fitting location for one of the city’s most prestigious fine dining restaurants.
Its wine programme is led by Silvia Garcia, who is considered one of the best Spanish sommeliers in the country, and her list is heavily based on classic wine regions featuring small producers, as well as more well-established wineries.
Deessa comes into its own with its tasting menus and wine pairings, which run from Armonia Silver and Gold to Grandes Casas, and is organised by different styles and prices. All driven and well executed by two solid sommeliers; Rocío Yagüe and Gustavo Garcia.
