About Convivial
Convivial is the work of passion by sommelier champion Yeo Xi Yang. It is the first and only Champagne-focused bar in Singapore which put many a naysayer to rest. “Asians do not like sparkling wines and bubbles!” is a statement of the past. It is indeed true that sparkling wines as aperitifs were hard sells back when I was working the floor, but Yang stepped in and ripped all these ideas apart.
Champagnes are naturally higher value and do indeed create a bigger hole in the pocket. But if it makes you happy, what's the problem?
