About Café Wu
A Chinese restaurant with great wine, isn’t that every wine lover’s dream? At least it is of the many guests that eat at Café Wu, a cosy, vibrant restaurant that opened in 2024 on the border of Amsterdam’s city centre and the eastern part of the city on the Dappermarkt. Chi Ling Wu worked at the German wine paradise Scheepskameel before and she knows her stuff. Also, she brought with her a team of knowledgeable, enthusiastic colleagues.
The wine list holds a nice selection of small growers mostly from France, Germany and Italy, carefully sourced, mostly organic and nicely priced. It may not be the most extensive list, but what can you expect from a young place, there’s still plenty to choose from for anyone's palate. A lovely addition to the city’s wine scene.
