Bar Cherie

Situated in the heart of Dusseldorf’s Old Town, Bar Cherie is a real institution in the city. A cosy, warm place with candlelight and a shabby-chic style given a French touch. In summertime you can sit outside, in front of the house. The kitchen serves some tasty nibbles, cheese and their famous Flammkuchen (“flame cake”).

Besides the local Altbier, Bar Cherie offers a nice selection of well-made cocktails. But what a lot of people don’t know is that there is a well curated wine list too! The focus is on Rieslings from the Mosel (even with some older vintages) and French reds. The service is heartwarming and staff can always recommend a bottle that fits right in the moment. Is a bottle too much? No worries. There are several good options by the glass.
