About Anchoita Cava
Just a block away from sibling establishment Anchoita, the Chacarita Cava (wine bar) is run with the same passion and vigour as the restaurant. A tiny space, it somehow manages to cellar not only 205 Argentine and world vintages, including 52 by-the-glass options, but also the 110 cheeses that are aged in-house. While there’s bar space with stools inside, there’s more action to be had from the tall street-side tables. Local somms, including myself, come here to sample foreign vintages at fair prices – and of course, the cheeky cheese platter.
