Star Wine List nominated for International Wine Business award

On November 6, the eighth edition of the Spanish International Wine Challenge Industry Awards will be held in Madrid. Star Wine List is proud to be nominated in the category for best online platform.

The International Wine Challenge Industry Awards 2023 are held as a show of support for the industry, recognizing and rewarding professionals who are part of the path that brings wine to the general public in Spain.

This year's Spanish edition will be led by Jonatan García, owner of Bodegas Suertes del Marqués, Alex Passaga and Beatriz Guzmán, importer and distributor FAP Grand CRU, Paz Ívison, food journalist, Álvaro Ribalta MW, founder of Massal Selection, David Seijas, sommelier and founder of Gallina de Piel, Win Vanleuven, founder of Buena Vida and María Vargas, technical director of Marqués de Murrieta.

The jury of experts is chaired by Pedro Ballesteros MW and in the jury we find names such as Juancho Asenjo (journalist specializing in wine) and Patricia Mateo (Director of International Wine Challenge Industry Awards Spain). The other two nominees in the online platform category are OEMV and Vinetur.

Apart from Best Online Platform, the International Wine Challenge Industry Awards also celebrates categories like Best Hotel, Best Wine Bar, Best Sommelier and Best Distributor.
