Melbourne’s dining and drinking scene continues to burgeon, with new and exciting wine bars and wine restaurants constantly opening up. For locals – let alone visitors - this comes as both a gift and a curse, as how best to navigate your way round the city’s dizzying array of great places to eat and drink with so many options to choose from? This is where Star Wine List steps in.

Our tireless Melbourne ambassador, sommelier Liinaa Berry, has been wearing out her shoe leather in an exhaustive mission to track down hidden gems, those bars and restaurants which really go the extra mile in offering wine lists which are something out of the ordinary, be they small and perfectly formed, or as thick as an old-school telephone directory - with a dizzying array of fantastic wines to choose from. Here are our latest entries to the very best of Melbourne's wine bars and wine restaurants:

Olivine Wine Bar
Enoteca Boccaccio
Neighbourhood Wine
Bellota Wine Bar
Marion
Bar Merenda
Odd Culture Fitzroy
Lilac Wine
Cardwell Cellars
VEX
