About Restaurant Babylon

With an astonishing view over the Copenhagen Lakes, Restaurant Babylon is located on the first floor of Søpavillonen (the Lake Pavilion). The atmosphere is trendy and upbeat, with a youthful, energetic vibe; white tablecloths, dimmed yet colourful lighting, and an artistic light installation on the ceiling set the scene. There is space for both smaller and larger groups, a bar area with a few seats available. During summer, a large outdoor seating area boasts a fresh breeze, swans swimming nearby, and cold wine at the ready.

The food is based on French Mediterranean cuisine with an Asian touch, and the restaurant offers a set menu for the whole table, a rather large selection of snacks, and a well-curated à la carte menu.

The wine list has a clear focus on French wines, with Burgundy, Champagne, and Jura as the main players. There are also a few well-selected Spanish and Italian wines, along with a touch of love for Eastern European wine.

Since Babylon can accommodate around 180 people per seating, I recommend adding a small note that you are interested in wine when booking, just to let them know.
