About NOSCH

Noémie Schmider is a former student of the Institut Lyfe (previously known as the Institut Paul Bocuse). She graduated in 2018 and then opened her own place, starting from scratch with a vivid passion for authentic food and wines. The ambience is casual yet in an elegant set up where she has pictured every single detail.

I really enjoy the focus on small producers in Beaujolais and Burgundy on the wine list, but you will also find some nice picks from Alsace and Austria.

This is a place where you can go often and never get bored, since the wine-by-the-glass and the traditional ‘pot Lyonnais’ selections are renewed every week. If you feel like taking a tour of their beautiful stone-walled cellar, ask Noémie if you can go downstairs and pick your own bottle.

Noémie has also opened the Comptoir, right next door, which shares the same wine list as the restaurant – a perfect spot to start the evening (it opens at 6.30pm) with classic bistro appetisers and a glass of wine.
