Nomad is a relatively new addition to Rigas's dining scene; however, it has gained high popularity among locals because of its international cuisine which pleases a broad audience. The name Nomad means traveller and reflects the philosophy of bringing together a menu that combines Pan-Asian cuisine and the culture of Western steakhouses influenced by Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese, Argentinean, Peruvian and Northern American cuisine.
The wine program is managed by the Best Sommelier of Latvia 2022, Dmitrijs Sinkēvičš. The wine list is compact and reasonably priced with an emphasis on Italian and French wines, but you will also find some gems from lesser-known countries and regions like Georgia, Ukraine, Lebanon and Greece, and a small selection from the New World. Nomad is also one of the few restaurants featuring Sake on their list.
