Meetly Storgatan

A couple of years after finding success with Meetly Vallastaden, Torsten Rosell and his team decided to open a sister wine bar in the heart of Linköping. The building on Storgatan has housed wine bars before, so the atmosphere was already in the walls, and the Meetly concept is instantly recognisable here – industrial interior design, an extensive selection of wines by the glass, and prices written directly on the bottles displayed along the walls.

The menu is wine-friendly, mainly featuring small dishes that can easily be combined into a full meal if desired. A few full-sized dishes are usually available and, on certain evenings, guests can book a menu package that includes five selected dishes paired with five half-glasses of wine. During summer, Storgatan is closed to traffic, making the outdoor seating on the street a perfect spot to relax.

The knowledgeable staff is happy to help you find the perfect wine from the shelves. They often offer a wine flight based on different themes for curious guests who want to learn more and compare. Of course, they’ve also kept the popular Slatt-tisdag (“Leftover Tuesday”), where glasses of wine from bottles opened over the weekend are sold at bargain prices.
