Nestled within the esteemed St. Regis Hotel in downtown Toronto, Louis Louix exudes opulence. The food – a familiar mix of French and American cuisine – is complimented by an extensive wine list of over 550 selections, with a total inventory of 4,600 bottles.
The classics are all here and accounted for, however, I am particularly fond of the dessert wine options – twenty-year-old Hungarian eszencia, thirty-year-old Huet Moelleux and honest-to-goodness Champenois Ratafia. For those with money to burn, this place is a must visit.
