Nestled within the historic Fairmont Royal York hotel in Toronto, Reign offers a multifaceted experience with its dining room, Jazz Age-inspired wine bar, and bakery. The wine bar is especially nice and exudes elegance with its large fireplace and grand piano.
Complementing the menu is wine director Steven Karataglidis' meticulously curated selection of 600 wines, boasting a staggering 7,000-bottle inventory. French white wines, namely Burgundies, take center stage, while the reds showcase offerings from Canada, California, and France. With an eye for organic and biodynamic producers, the list goes beyond the usual trappings of a large international hotel chain. In 2023, Reign received a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence.
