Il Santino

Il Santino, a cosy wine bar in central Florence, is located in the Oltrarno district, on the other side of the Arno River and a bit away from the most prominent and touristic parts of Florence. The wine bar is small, with light walls, vaulted ceilings, and an antique bar counter in dark wood where the highchairs are highly sought after, exactly as the few small tables that fill up quickly.

The wine list is long, most of the wines are Italian and artisanal. They are served combined with delicious small dishes, cheese and charcuteries. There are also various Italian artisanal beers to choose from. The wine bar's guests are an exciting mix of locals and tourists who want something more than the most obvious. The same owner also runs the Il Santo Bevitore restaurant and the S.Forno bakery, both a stone's throw away and worth a visit.
