Nestled in the historic centre of the city of Florence, in one of the city's most renowned and well-known hotels - the Four Seasons Hotel - there is a restaurant that presents the most correct and essential definition of luxury: exclusivity.
Chef Paolo Lavezzini runs the one-Michelin-star restaurant Il Palagio, while one of Italy's most respected sommeliers, Walter Meccia, created the wine list. Roman by birth and Tuscan by adoption, in 2010, he landed at the Four Seasons Hotel in Florence. Here, he has built a balanced wine list with a strong identity, becoming one of Italy's most successful sommeliers and restaurant figures.
The wine list includes novelties, great rarities, and small and large vignerons but would not have the same value without the attention to detail that Walter Meccia and his team offer guests.
