Avaton Luxury Hotel & Villas

Avaton Luxury Hotel & Villas Resort is a member of Relais & Château, a contemporary beachfront escape overlooking the beautiful sea of Athos Peninsula in Halkidiki, Greece. Atelier restaurant's executive chef is Panos Papadopoulos, who created a menu based on local ingredients with a strong Mediterranean influence. It is worth mentioning that except for the à la carte menu, there is the option of a degustation of eight courses, named "Taste of Greece".

The wine list consists of 280 labels from Greece and abroad, 37 of which are by the glass, including iconic wines from regions like Bordeaux, Tuscany, Champagne, and Burgundy. The Greek presence is quite strong, allowing exploring and learning the indigenous grape varieties from all over the country.

For the "Taste of Greece" degustation menu, there are two different wine pairings, the "Greek Experience" and the "International Ultimate Experience".
