Público – Cuina de Mercat hosts the final 2025 edition of Wine, Women & Words, a series celebrating the connection between literature, wine, and the women who inspire stories. 📖🍷

This time, we welcome journalist and writer Laura Ferrero, who will share excerpts from her new book El amor después del amor (Alfaguara, 2025), illustrated by Marc Pallarès. A work that explores breakups as thresholds: endings that, through sensitivity and art, can be transformed into beauty.

The wine selection by Nika Shevela —featuring Lagravera, Parés Baltà, and Vins de Pedra— will accompany the reading with pairings designed to spark dialogue and emotion. Público completes the experience with a special pica pica created for the occasion.

The evening will be hosted by Andrea Carballo, creator and curator of Wine, Women & Words, inviting us to celebrate words and wine as spaces for encounter, vulnerability, and creation.
