In Barcelona’s most bustling and gastronomic street, Enrique Granados, a new venue opened its doors to the public in 2024. This is the enological and culinary venture by Pantea Group (widely known for their emblematic Eldelmar restaurant, created in collaboration with the Torres brothers). It celebrates the authenticity of Mediterranean cuisine right in the heart of Barcelona.
With over 200 references in a dynamic and ever-growing selection, and a total of 34 wines available by the glass, the concept is structured as a wine shop or colmado de vinos. Essentially, wines are offered at retail prices with an additional €8 corkage fee – a bargain, as it allows guests to open high-level bottles at an accessible cost.
The selection is curated by renowned sommeliers Alex Moreno and Xavi Nolla, who also manage an educational electronic wine list that is constantly updated. Bordeaux, Burgundy, and international wines complement a well-curated selection of Spanish wines.
The restaurant is divided into two distinct areas: the more informal front section, where simpler dishes and delicious tapas are served, perfectly paired with wines in a wine bar-style setting.
Inside, the focus shifts to the grill, which dominates the scene with expertly prepared market-fresh fish of the highest quality – the true specialty of the restaurant.
Wines are paired with the city’s finest products and served in Gabriel Glas stemware, offering an elevated experience.
