Congratulations to Ellen Franzén and Nina Jensen
It's been a week of competitions, and we want to congratulate Ellen Franzén for winning Nordic Ruinart Sommelier Challenge, and Nina Jensen for the victory in the Danish Sommelier Championship.
Monday the 19th of September Nordic Ruinart Sommelier Challenge was held at Grand Hôtel in Stockholm. Ruling Swedish Sommelier Champion Ellen Franzén, sommelier at Michelin two-star restaurant Gastrologik, won the competition. Sweden's Emma Ziemann finished second and Norway's Simon Zimmermann third.
The same day Nina Jensen – silver medalist in the World's Best Sommelier Competition and sommelier at the Copenhagen classic Kong Hans Kælder – won the Danish Sommelier Championship. Rasmus Lunkov Marquart, Star Wine List's Copenhagen ambassador, finished second.
