Vinbaren, close to Grönsakstorget, might not be the place for those who want to drink rarities and exclusive icon wines. But the welcoming charm and the delightfully upbeat atmosphere makes it perfect as an after-work-spot or the start of a fun night out with a larger group. The interior combines modern with rustic, with small round wooden tables and a long counter bar in white marble.

The food menu focuses on the Mediterranean, with dishes like Patatas Bravas, Tartar Nicoise and Chèvre Chaud. There is also a nice selection of charcuterie and cheese for those who just want a small bite.

The wine list is considerably more eclectic than the food menu; sure, the focus is on Europe in general and France in particular, but you'll also find wines from places like Lebanon, Slovenia, Japan and South America. They have around fifty wines by the glass, in many different price ranges and with many different origins.
