The Wine Merchant Park Silom Updates

About The Wine Merchant Park Silom

A new addition to the ever-expanding Wine Merchant portfolio of wine bars and shops, The Wine Merchant Park Silom is the group’s most ambitious wine bar to date.

Located in the new Park Silom multi-use development in the busy Silom Road, this venue pairs the usual well-curated and well-priced wine portfolio of The Wine Merchant with a great kitchen, focusing on super-premium cold cuts and cheeses alongside delicious pasta dishes and a couple of main courses.

About the The Wine Merchant Park Silom Wine List

The focus here is on the classic appellations of Europe, paired with a couple of blue chip houses from the US. The choices from Bordeaux, Champagne and Austria are extensive, with a rich catalogue of wines at all price ranges and vintages. Prices are kept very approachable, with the Bordeaux selection, in particular, being very competitive.

A special mention must go to the list of wines served by the glass, which is ever-evolving and features some great options for pairing with the food.

More recommendations

  • Whether you stop by for a glass of wine by yourself or an entire bottle or several with friends, you will most certainly find a lot of gems both reds and whites. Even one of my favorite Italian Piedmontese rosés is found on the shelves of the Wine Merchant Park Silom. This is both a retail shop and a wine bar. They have a very nice offering of charcuterie and cheese, nibbles or even a couple of main courses. Mainly European wines, but also some New World wines. Prices are pretty nice too.

  • In a crowded field, the best Bordeaux list must bring together not only the greatest classified reds across multiple vintages, but also the dry and sweet whites, which are sometimes overlooked. Including some of the lesser-known but better-value bottles is an important factor, while maintaining high accuracy and navigability in presentation. This list ticks all those boxes – it’s a treasure trove of Bordeaux. [Gold Star: Best Bordeaux Wine List, Star Wine List of the Year Southeast Asia 2026.]
