About Sundbybergs vinbar
The Stockholm suburb of Sundbyberg recently got a welcome addition in terms of wine: In June 2022, Sundbybergs Vinbar opened adjacent to a supermarket. Behind this lively bar, we find David Svensson, previously sommelier at Djuret and the Leijontornet group in the Old Town of Stockholm. With his solid know-how, he has quickly built up a true gem that makes it well worth leaving the city centre.
The place is small and cosy, with a larger wooden table in the centre of the room, a few smaller tables and bar seating. On the menu, there are all kinds of snacks and smaller bites but also larger dishes (don't miss their take on kebabs, for example!). The wine list is well composed, with both well-known regions/producers/styles, slightly more unexpected excursions and exciting rarities. Every dish and wine come with a story or anecdote that adds flavour and context. Congratulations, Sundbyberg!
