About Retrovino

Retrovino is somewhat of a sequel to the already-established Retrobottega restaurant, with which it is physically connected. However, Retrovino operates as a wine bar. They share the same minimalist and essential design aesthetic, as well as a commitment to high quality.

The venue is very small yet comfortable and elegant, though some clients may not fully appreciate the social tables and stools. Here, the menu is simpler, yet always tasty and creative, and still showcasing preparation skills.

Regarding wine, there is a good selection available by the glass, and the wine list is shared with the restaurant. It is packed with around 600 labels, of which a lot come from Italy. There is a substantial section for France, with a love for Champagne quite obvious. Once more, emphasis is placed on quality, offering a range of prestigious bottles, but this choice may limit the options available in the lower price range.

I never leave without trying a specialty coffee, sourced from different origins and prepared using various extraction methods. The friendly staff is always able to explain everything in detail.
