About Lavo and Lavo Gallery
Under the same roof that manages EMP KL, Lavo and Lavo Gallery are other venues located at Tropicana township in Petaling Jaya. The interior is modern, artful and funky for Lavo and a classy underground cellar feel for Lavo Gallery. Lavo is a blend of three different concepts: Restaurant, Bistro and Wine Atelier, whereas Lavo Gallery is their underground retail and storage.
The food in Lavo is based on the common Malaysian comfort food, from Asian to Western, and my all-time favourite will be the Nasi Lemak Berempah and a glass of German Riesling. Size does matter and the wine list in Lavo and Lavo Gallery is one of the biggest you will see in Malaysia, with around 1,000 labels selected by Dibin Chin who is the Group Head Sommelier of the establishment.
