L’Artichaut

Another very special place in Geneva, run by Yann Doutrewé, who is originally from Belgium. The food here is sort of classic French cuisine, and you can either get a set menu with 6-8 dishes or order à la carte. The restaurant is on the smaller side, with only around 20 seats.

Yann Doutrewé is a sommelier who took over this restaurant from the previous owner. He is very passionate about wine, and the wine list holds around 100 references, mainly from Europe, both conventional and organic. Yann usually doesn’t show the list to the guests; instead, he likes to talk to people and surprise them. This is a place where people go because the food is really good, and because Yann is there, serving them great wine.
