About Farmer's Apprentice

Located on a quiet nook just past the Granville Street Bridge, Farmer’s Apprentice is a delicate and thoughtful farm-to-table restaurant, as the name might suggest.

Records are flipped throughout the evening meaning music is fun and eclectic, with a small natural wine list that is particularly well priced, especially when it comes to grower Champagne and cult-classic Loire Chenin Blancs. A small selection of sakes and cocktails permeate the offerings as well, and the next-door Grapes and Soda is an ideal tiny bar to cosy up to pre- or post-dinner.

The menu at Farmer’s is seasonal and sharing-focused, often incorporating whole-animal butchery and unique local produce. Every Sunday features a lunchtime BBQ pop-up, Basta Barbecue, in the form of a wood-fired grill that is worth making a special trip.
