Gary's

Without any visual context, the name Gary’s suggests all-day breakfast and vinyl booth seating, but the minimalist interior, moody lighting and wrap-around bar of this charming and diminutive restaurant on South Granville suggest something a little more sophisticated.

A restaurant truly by and for industry folks, Gary’s is helmed by a young and talented team. The name is an homage to the friendship forged in and around the Vancouver industry and the unique bonds forged by restaurant employees.

Gary’s does French food in a low key fashion and natural wine by way of local and international offerings (with a French focus). Wine Director Anna Sutela’s list is inspired, and informed by stints working in Lyon as well as a smattering of examples of next-generation local British Columbian winemakers.
