About Chin Chin wine bar

Chin-Chin wine bar is a new kid on the block. One of the biggest wine bars in Tallinn, it's where you can discover your new favorites from among 800 different wines.

Located by the seaside in the newly-developed Kalaranna quarter, you’ll find yourself in the beating heart of Tallinn. It is a wine bar and shop, two in one, with a trendy interior where there is enough air and light, while at the same time being cozy and comfortable. It shares rooms with the Veinisõber store, and the indoors include a shop and wine bar where you will find a sitting and relaxing area with a smaller, more private room, for up to 16 people. This makes it possible to organize private degustations and events. During the weekends, Chin Chin dims the lights and turns the volume up with live music and/or a DJ.

Behind this beautiful wine list is Karl-Märten Käesel, a young sommelier who learned the art of respecting great wines from his father and got his sommelier experience from studying at the Estonian Sommelier School and working in Time to Wine wine bar.

Today, he is responsible for the Chin-Chin wine bar and has created a list that contains about 300 carefully selected entries. You can enjoy a great choice of Champagnes from big names like Bollinger and Billecart-Salmon as an example, and from smaller producers like Pierre Paillard, Ulysse Collin, and many others. The sparkling list contains nice samples from Italy and England, Spain, and many others. For still wines you have a wide choice from different countries and wine styles; major classics are represented in both white and red wines and besides these, the list includes some lesser-known gems from South Africa, Spain, and Italy. Some producers to mention are Inama, Weingut Wittmann, Sybille Kuntz, Emilio Moro, Dominique Mugneret, and many others.

In case you find something you like from the shop, you can buy it and enjoy it at the wine bar for a reasonable corkage fee.
