Star Wine List of the Year Nordics 2022
Save the date! On October 9 Star Wine List will organise a Star Wine List of the Year Nordics Edition.
Star Wine List of the Year is our event to celebrate the great wine lists in different countries the teams behind them. This edition is not part of our international Star Wine List tour but a separate event we organise to highlight the Nordic wine lists and teams.
The event will take place in Copenhagen on Sunday Oct. 9 in collaboration with the Danish Sommelier Association and the Best Sommelier of the Nordics event.
Our jury for Star Wine List of the Year Nordics 2022 consists of some of the best sommeliers in the world:
- Arvid Rosengren (Best Sommelier of the World 2016)
- Véronique Rivest (Best Sommelier of the Americas 2012)
- Piotr Pietras MS (Runner up Best Sommelier of Europe and Africa 2017)
SPECIAL ENTRY FORMS:
The 2022 winners from Norway and Denmark are automatically qualified for this event.
Finland and Sweden - Sustainable Wine list
We have a new category this year which was just recently announced: Sustainable Wine List, sommeliers from Finland and Sweden (where the Star Wine List of the Year events have already taken place) have to register for this specific category through this link.
Winners of the other categories from these countries will automatically qualify for the Nordic event.
Deadline for submitting your wine lists and register for Sustainable Wine List is Sept. 9.

Since we have not run an event in Iceland, Icelandic venues can register on this link for all categories.

CATEGORIES
• Grand Prix: The best wine list with more than 600 references
• Best Austrian Wine List: Recognizes the best wine list with Austrian wine. The category is presented by Austrian Wine
• Best By The Glass List: Recognizes the best by-the-glass list.
• Best Sparkling Wine List: Recognizes the best wine list with sparkling wine. The category is presented by Nyetimber
• Special Jury Prize: Recognizes a venue that has done something extra with their wine list, such as the direction, the style or the value.
• Best Medium-Sized List: Recognizes the best list with 200-600 references
• Best Short List: Recognizes the best list with up to 200 references
• Sustainable Wine List
