Why are Swedish wine lists so French?

The share of French wines on top Swedish wine lists is 56%. Star Wine List gathered a panel to discuss the reasons why.

Star Wine List’s analysis shows that 56% of the listings on top Swedish wine lists are French, followed by 15 % for Italy and 9 % for the US.

Sweden’s Master of Wine Madeleine Stenwreth has criticised the lack of diversity on Swedish wine lists and our interview with her last year caused a lot of debate on the subject.
