This ancient varietal, indigenous to the Loire Valley, is a Rootstock favorite due to its higher levels of acidity and mineral driven structure. Francois’s natural approach helps him craft angular vibrant wines, like this ’19, which is fuller-bodied with bright acidity and flavors of orchard fruit, lanolin, granite and spice.
