About Yellow

Named in honour of its saffron facade, which originally fronted an art gallery, Yellow has been the Eastern Suburbs’ go-to plant-based bistro since 2016. The kitchen team, headed by chef Brent Savage, continues to plate up the pinnacle of vegan cuisine with a stellar wine list to match.

The comprehensive list packs a lot into three pages, naturally centred on vegan-friendly wines without forsaking sommelier Nick Hildebrandt’s well-honed taste for the rare, fine and eclectic. Expect the very best of Europe, New Zealand, and Australia, with an emphasis on progressive and low-interventionist producers.
