Redfern’s Attenzione! Food & Wine is built around captivating bottles and a seemingly effortless but energetic sense of hospitality. There’s a strong European thread in co-owner and sommelier Felix Colman’s wine list (with Italy at its core, as the venue’s name suggests) but the selection moves comfortably across styles and regions, including Australia and New Zealand – and more than one page of exceptional sparkling styles. You’ll find familiar benchmarks alongside more exploratory bottles, with enough by-the-glass options to encourage a bit of curiosity and conversation.

The venue itself is intimate without feeling cramped: timber, soft lighting, wall-length mirrors and a strategically spaced layout create an atmosphere that feels distinctly local. Along with exceptional service, Attenzione! is the kind of place where a quick drink can quietly turn into a long stay.

Food-wise, chef Toby Stansfield's menu is smart and restrained – centred around seasonal ingredients and seafood, it’s designed to sit alongside the wine rather than compete with it.
