About Sin Cero

There’s a new gem on Kloof Street that’s completely stolen my heart: Sin Cero. It’s cosy, charming, and feels like you’ve just pulled up a chair in your grandmother’s living room – if she happened to have excellent taste in wine and a soft spot for classic rock.

The magic here comes from Tristan Maske, whose ever-changing wine list keeps things playful and fresh. He’s the kind of host who’ll pour you something you didn’t know you needed and have you chatting about it an hour later. The list changes weekly, so there’s always a new reason to drop in – one week it’s small-batch Chenin, the next it’s an off-beat Italian orange that totally works.

It’s not trying to impress; it’s trying to connect. Great wine, great people, and that easy, welcoming vibe that makes you forget what time it is. I’m there more often than I’d like to admit – and honestly, I don’t plan to stop.
