About Misshumasshu
If you want to find yours truly at lunchtime in Stockholm, this is a safe bet. Misshumasshu has taken over the beautiful Birger Jarlspassagen in central Stockholm, and serves both lunch and dinner. (Tables cannot be booked for lunch – go early or late to avoid queuing.)
The Adam/Albin team is behind the venture, which focuses on Japanese-inspired dishes. If the Tonkatsu pork schnitzel is on the menu, go ahead and order it – you can thank me later.
Slowly but surely, the Adam/Albin team and sommelier Sören Polonius have begun stocking the wine fridges on the premises, and it is now hard to resist ordering from the short but excellent wine list. There are always food-friendly wines available by the glass, and by Stockholm standards the list also offers a good number of original wines from Central Europe, South America, and other parts of the New World. There is also a good selection of sake.
