About DC Restaurant
Chef-owner Darren Chin started Restaurant DC in Taman Tun Dr. Ismail in 2014 as a classic French restaurant and, through the years, it has evolved to give diners a new exploration of sensory experiences through his cuisine, which combines his skills with the flavours of Southeast Asia.
As a chef that understands the true value of pairing, Darren always creates dishes that are unique and able to stand alone by themselves, whilst also pairing very well with wines. Curated by the sommelier team, the wine list contains over 800 labels, with one of the best by-the-glass sections in Malaysia as well as a Coravin programme that serves some of the world’s finest wines, too. The list focuses more on the Old World, and mainly France and Italy, along with some fantastic New World wines from Australia, New Zealand and Argentina.
