About And/Ore
And/Ore in Queen West is a split-personality stunner—light and playful upstairs, dark and dramatic downstairs. Above Ground is all rococo charm, small plates, and natural wines. Devilled eggs with a jian bing twist? Yes, please. Downstairs, Below Ground offers a six-course tasting menu in a golden grotto—think immersive, intimate, and unforgettable. Chef Missy Hui blends global flavors into modern Canadian magic, with dishes that surprise and stories that stick. Walk in for cocktails and bites upstairs, or book ahead for the full tasting experience below. It’s more than dinner—it’s a stylish, flavor-packed escape from the everyday.
The thoughtful wine list - courtesy of sommelier par excellence Krysta Oben – leans European and natural, with a welcome Champagne-tasting flight. The menu highlights a swath of independent vignerons, often working in far flung terroirs as diverse as Spain’s Canary Islands, Chile’s Maule Valley and the IYKYK state of Vermont. Prices are very reasonable. Vibes are high.
